Everything is achievable.
I started my journey in clinical care and research across different countries and health systems, and one reality became impossible to ignore: Africans are still vastly under-represented in global clinical research, yet Africa remains a major consumer of medicines and health products that were never designed with African populations in mind. That imbalance isn’t just unjust, it is also unsafe and weakens scientific validity of research outcomes.
So I made an audacious move. I am establishing a world-class clinical research and biobanking facility in Jos, Nigeria, built to international standards, grounded in Good Clinical Practice, and designed to ensure Africa is no longer an afterthought in global research.
I am currently in the middle of funding applications, with the aim of translating years of frontline clinical and research experience into a structure that can actually change the system. To hold the vision steady, I also created a photographic illustration of the dream. A visual representation of what I hope this facility will become. A bridge between Africa and global research and platform for inclusion. A future where products used in Africa are informed by African participation.

So I made an audacious move. I’m establishing a world-class clinical research and biobanking facility in Jos, Nigeria, built to international standards, grounded in Good Clinical Practice, and designed to ensure Nigeria especially Northern Nigeria is no longer an afterthought in global research.
Right now, I’m in the middle of funding applications, with the aim of translating years of frontline clinical and research experience into a structure that can actually change the system. To hold the vision steady, I’ve also created a conceptual illustration of the dream, a visual representation of what I hope this facility will become. A bridge between Africa and global research. A future where products used in Africa are informed by African participation.
