DIVERGENT CORNER

I started writing a song about this time last year. I never was able to summon the motivation to finish it. Every time l manage to sit down to write, l’d cancel almost everything l’d written before and start all over because the previous one would suddenly seem lame to me.

1 kept updating the same thing over and over for over a year now. In fact, l’d already given up till Friday last week, when in my sleep, l suddenly remembered what this dude said in 50 cent’s documentary, about how it takes Diddy like 8 months to write one bar. 1 dint know when l shouted “God forbid”, jumped out of bed at 2am, sat in my office for over 3 hours and wrote a masterpiece.
